Building a Stickerbomb Community (For Real This Time)

Stickerbomb existed long before Soi Books. We were making sticker books before we even knew we were a ‘publisher.’

For years, Stickerbomb has been many things at once: a global sticker-book series, a brand, a publishing experiment, the occasional event, a cultural time capsule, and, if we’re being honest, a loose “community” of artists who mostly connect with us through DMs, WhatsApp messages, deadlines, and late-night file drops. It’s worked, but it’s never quite felt like we’ve nailed it.

The first step in pushing things further is our new open call: Stickerbomb X-TREME Sports, running now until 9 January 2026. You’ve probably seen the flyer above. Loud, chaotic, a bit nostalgic, and very Stickerbomb. The idea is simple: invite artists from everywhere to send in their best “extreme sports” designs. Skate, surf, BMX, parkour, anything that counts.

But because this is our next book, we’re aiming bigger. Underneath the callout is a broader goal: building a proper pipeline where artists can discover us, get featured, get seen, and feel part of something that doesn’t vanish after one book cycle.

Stickerbomb has always grown because artists believed in it. They sent work. They introduced friends. But we’ve never had a true entry point. Just noise, inboxes, and scattered conversations. So we’re shifting to more open calls across our sticker books and other titles, all channelled through one place: a single submission page, a simple form, a direct line into future projects.

Over time, this community will feed into books, online releases, collaborations, and bigger things we’ll talk about later. But for now, the mission is straightforward: bring people in, get to know them, and make the next phase of Stickerbomb feel more like a crew and less like a post office.
