You don’t need to have the whole book figured out. An idea, archive, body of work or collection of material is enough. We’ll use the kickoff session to help shape the direction.

Most Book Direction projects are completed within 4 weeks of the kickoff session, depending on the material and feedback schedule.

Your £1,000 + VAT deposit secures the project and kickoff session. We’ll arrange the session, go through the idea and material with you, and the remaining £2,500 + VAT is charged automatically one week later before design work begins.

Yes. Part of the purpose of Book Direction is to give you strong visual material you can use to present the project, approach partners or sponsors, raise funding or begin pre-sales.

Book Direction establishes the concept and visual system. It doesn’t include full-book design, editing, image licensing, printing, production or distribution. These can all be developed with SOI as the next stage.

You can stop there and use the completed direction independently, or continue with SOI to develop the full book. If you want to continue, we’ll scope and quote the complete project separately.
