Plaza features a range of documentary and street photography from across South-East Asia.

South-East Asian Black-And-White Street Photography journal PLAZA showcases 18 talented photographers from across ASEAN [Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam], in a new collectible format. The first issue focuses on the beauty and intrigue of black-and-white street photography, and how it can reveal the hidden layers of daily life in the region.

PLAZA, a Soi Books release, is dedicated to capturing the spirit and essence of South-East Asia through the eyes of local photographers. The photographs in this latest issue offer a glimpse into the daily lives of people across the region, capturing moments of joy, contemplation, and curiosity.

"We are thrilled to release this first issue which scratches the surface of daily life in South-East Asia through the art of black and white street photography," said Suridh Hassan, editor of PLAZA. "Our photographs aim to reveal the hidden stories and the beauty of daily life in the region. Together, they offer a powerful testament to the richness and complexity of life in South-East Asia."
